In Search of Self
Connecting a mission to a new brand.
In Search of Self Studios is a therapy practice dedicated to helping people connect to their body’s wisdom and bring it into their consciousness. Van Santen Studio redesigned their logo and brand identity to create an emotional connection to the body-mind message and visually reinforce their mission.
I’ve worked with the owner Integrative Synergy Studios for a number of years and have experienced, first hand, the power of connecting body with my mind. It’s pretty powerful! So I was approached to work on the brand, I jumped at the opportunity!
Following interviews and strategy sessions with Van Santen Studio, it was decided the name, “Integrative Synergy Studios”, didn’t create a deep enough connection for clients. “In Search of Self” more clearly and simply conveyed the self-discovery journey created for their clients.
I designed a logo representing an individual sitting in contemplation. All parts of the body are gray except the head and the heart. The hand cradles the heart representing self love and discovery.
WORK INCLUDED Brand Strategy, Branding, Web Design, Space Design, and Social Media Graphics
In addition to the logo, I created supporting graphics that represented the Four Elements of Bodymind Connection: Compassion, Connection, Exploration and Curiosity.
